Buddy’s 80th Anniversary Pizza Box Design Contest

Official Rules

1. Sponsor

The Buddy’s 80th Anniversary Pizza Box Design Contest is sponsored by Buddy’s Pizza. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, any social media platform.

2. Eligibility

  • The contest is open to legal residents of the United States.
  • Participants under the age of 18 must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to enter. A parent or legal guardian must submit the entry on behalf of any minor and agree to these Official Rules.
  • No purchase necessary to enter or win.

3. How to Enter

To enter the contest:

  1. Pick up a special contest pizza box at any participating Buddy’s Pizza location between February 2, 2026 and March 1, 2026, while supplies last.
  2. Design directly on the official contest pizza box using your own creative style.
  3. Take a clear, well-lit photo of your completed design.
  4. Submit your photo using the official online submission form by March 14, 2026 at 11:59 PM ET.

Participants under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian submit the entry on their behalf.

Limit one (1) entry per person.

4. Entry Requirements

All submissions must:

  • Be original artwork created by the entrant
  • Be designed directly on the official Buddy’s contest pizza box
  • Be appropriate for a general audience
  • Not contain profanity, hate speech, explicit content, or offensive material
  • Not include copyrighted material, logos, or trademarks the entrant does not own

Buddy’s Pizza reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not meet these guidelines or that violates these Official Rules.

5. Timeline

  • Boxes available in-store: February 2, 2026 – March 1, 2026
  • Entry submission period: February 2, 2026 – March 14, 2026 (by 11:59 PM ET)
  • Finalists selected by Buddy’s: April 2026
  • Public voting period: April 2026 (dates to be announced)
  • Winners announced: May 2026
  • Winning design featured on Buddy’s 80th Anniversary Pizza Box: June – December 2026

Dates are subject to change at Sponsor’s discretion.

6. Judging & Voting

After the submission period ends, Buddy’s will select ten (10) finalist designs based on creativity, originality, and overall fit with the Buddy’s brand.

Finalists will then be entered into a public voting period. Voting details, including duration and method, will be announced at a later date.

The three (3) designs receiving the most votes will be named the winners.

In the event of a tie, Buddy’s reserves the right to determine the winner based on its sole discretion.

7. Prizes

Finalists (10 Total)

Ten (10) finalists will each receive a Buddy’s prize pack.

Grand Prize Winners (Top 3)

  • 1st Place:Winning design featured as Buddy’s 80th Anniversary Pizza Box and a special pizza party celebration
  • 2nd Place:Free Buddy’s pizza for a year
  • 3rd Place: Free Buddy’s pizza for a year

Prizes are non-transferable and may not be substituted for cash. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.

8. Rights & Usage

By submitting an entry, participants, or a parent or legal guardian on behalf of a minor, grant Buddy’s Pizza a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, and display the submitted design for promotional, marketing, and commercial purposes.

This includes, but is not limited to, use on pizza boxes, in-store displays, social media, websites, advertising, and other Buddy’s promotional materials.

Entrants retain ownership of their original artwork.

9. Winner Notification

Finalists and winners will be notified using the contact information provided at the time of entry.

If a selected finalist or winner does not respond within a reasonable timeframe, Buddy’s reserves the right to select an alternate.

10. General Conditions

Buddy’s Pizza reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond its reasonable control impairs the integrity of the contest.

By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Buddy’s Pizza, which are final and binding.

11. Limitation of Liability

By entering, participants release and hold harmless Buddy’s Pizza, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all liability arising from participation in the contest or acceptance or use of any prize.
